Agape Babies Home story!

Dear Friend , A young woman, no more than a girl, belly large with child wonders what will become of her. No husband. No money. Maybe no home. “What will become of the child? What will become of me?” She wonders. Death? Socially outcast? Starvation? “Maybe if I just leave the baby here. Maybe someone will find it.” And that is the sad, and all too common beginning of Agape House Baby Home. In our Kampala communities, The probation officer report 40 cases of abandoned, vulnerable kids everyday so taking care of 40 babies abandoned by their biological parents everyday. These are, for the most part, teenage mothers who feel helpless in their situation. Out of 40 babies few will survive because of negative living conditions.

Our main when we opened a babies home, agape house babies home becomes as a rescue home and as Well as a reception centre in Kampala, saving the lives of innocent babies and providing counseling for teenage mothers to make good decisions regarding the care of their children. This home can house 40 children ages 0-5 years old. Agape House Babies House gives these children the opportunity not only to have a chance at life, but also to have a family, the chance for relationship with their biological mothers, a safe place to sleep, good food, and medical care. Without your support Agape cannot continue to provide this loving home for these children.

In order to provide this loving home we still have needs like food, baby formula, diapers,Vaseline, beddings, toys, kitchen equipment, a clean water filtering system, too fully equip our in-house home clinic with the station nurse/visiting doctor and a reliable food supply.
